Having grown up in the local area, Georgia initially danced at a local dance school before becoming a dance teacher herself. During her time as a dance teacher, she discovered her passion for movement and thoroughly enjoyed sharing that passion with others.
Throughout the Covid pandemic, Georgia actively engaged in numerous Pilates videos on YouTube to stay physically active, complemented by regular walks.
In 2020, Georgia became pregnant and continued to appreciate the benefits of Pilates, realizing how it can be adapted to all phases of life. During her postpartum period, she discovered the correct way to engage her abdominal muscles. This experience heightened Georgia's passion for Pilates and instilled in her a desire to teach correct form and technique to prevent injuries.
At that point, Georgia embarked on studying for a Certificate IV in Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology with Tensegrity Training. Upon completing the course earlier this year, she continues to expand her knowledge through various workshops. Georgia is also a Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA) member, an esteemed organization representing professional Pilates teachers and instructors in Australia.
Georgia is thrilled to be part of the Leongatha Health Hub team and greatly values the relationships she has formed with her clients. She sees this as just the beginning of her journey as a Pilates instructor and looks forward to continuing her growth in the field.
