Richard has been actively involved in the health and sports industries throughout his life.
He is a proud father of twin girls and enjoys staying fit by cycling, swimming, and challenging himself with golf.
Richard possesses extensive education, achievements, and experience in Osteopathy and Exercise Physiology. He holds Masters Degrees in both Osteopathy and Exercise Physiology. Additionally, he served as a tutor in Anatomy at university level for 20 years and has lectured on Exercise Prescription, Exercise Physiology, and Resistance Training. Richard has also completed courses in dry needling and functional movement exercise.
Notably, Richard's professional journey includes being the Exercise Physiologist for the winning 1996 Sri Lankan World Cup cricket team and the Olympic Gold medal Australian Rowing and Hockey Squads. Moreover, he served as the High-Performance Manager of the 2000 Olympic Taekwondo Squad, which produced the sport's only gold and silver medalists in history.
Richard is a registered Osteopath with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Association (AHPRA) and Osteopathy Australia (OA). Furthermore, he holds registrations as a Level 2 Sports Scientist and High Performance Manager with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
Richard's objective is to help his patients achieve their full potential by bridging the gap between their present condition and their desired state in the most efficient manner possible.
